Off and running

The 2019 PMBHL season is off and running. We just finished our second weekend of practices and our first week of league games. All went well, scores in a few games were a little lop sided but I hope that they will get a little more balanced in future games. We will make trades to balance the teams after the first three weeks, if needed.

It looked like most enjoyed themselves other than the lopsided scores.

We have a lot of new players and families this season and I hope everyone is fitting in well.

I have heard from quit a few newcomers that they are pleasantly surprised with the league.

We are a well organized, certified (OBHA), insured league. Its NOT just a street hockey league.

THANKS to all the coaches, they are doing a great job.

Thanks to all the parents and players for joining our league.

Thanks to ALL our TEAM sponsors and "Player of the Game" sponsors.

We have just added Boston Pizza and Firehouse subs to our list of Player of the Game sponsors.

All these sponsors have donated gift certificates or coupons from their business to hand out to our POGs (Player of the Game) each game.

Check these sponsors out on our sponsors page.

Standings are updated.

I am looking for a referee that can ref in this league as well as the women's league. I am a referee instructor so I can give a personal one on one clinic with exam to certify any refs.

We will be looking for helpers to help Amy Woodbeck with the season ending Banquet on June 29th. Please send an email to me than I will forward your contact information to her.

Provincial teams are starting to ramp up. If your interested in playing on the provincial team send me your name and I will send it through to the coaches. If we get our teams in place early they can have exhibition games.

We still have registration open for Atom & Peewee divisions.

An impostor has moved into our area. That's right, a ball hockey league that operates out of the GTA has decided to move into Peterborough and try to set up and run a youth ball hockey league here usi
